Hope Bundle

Hope, in every gesture

We share information about charitable organisations and the support they offer to cancer patients. Through stories, photos, and videos of acts of compassion, we help patients discover the organisations and resources that best match their needs.

A bridge between patients and solidarity

The Hope Bundle brings together in one place charitable organisations, their actions and the most important needs of patients — with full respect for their privacy.

A Voice That Listens

“When I first heard the word 'cancer,' I felt as though the world had suddenly become very quiet. I thought I would have to face everything alone. But then I met people who simply listened — without telling me how I should feel, without rushing my fear away. Sometimes, being heard is the first step toward hope.”

Hope Finds You in Others

“There was a time when I sat in that same room, frightened and searching for someone who could tell me that I would be okay. Later, I returned to that room and found other women waiting, just as I once had. That was when I understood that hope can be passed from one hand to another. Sometimes, support is simply saying: 'I'm here. You are not alone.'”

Care Begins with Trust

“We often say that early detection saves lives, and it does. But before someone can accept care, they must first feel safe enough to ask for it. Trust is not built by a machine or a diagnosis. It is built through a conversation, a listening ear, and the feeling that someone truly sees you.”

01Pink October 2024

A Day of Hope, Gratitude & Human Connection

29/10/2024

As part of the Pink October 2024 initiatives, SMARTPINK organized a humanitarian event at Hakim Saadan Hospital in Biskra, bringing a message of hope, compassion, and solidarity to breast cancer patients.

As part of the Pink October 2024 initiatives, SMARTPINK organized a humanitarian event at Hakim Saadan Hospital in Biskra, bringing a message of hope, compassion, and solidarity to breast cancer patients.

The initiative was created not only to honor the women facing the challenges of breast cancer, but also to recognize the dedication of doctors and medical staff who stand beside patients throughout their journeys.

Through the distribution of symbolic gifts, SMARTPINK sought to create small moments of happiness and remind patients that behind every treatment is a community that cares, listens, and stands with them.

For the patients, it was more than receiving a gift. It was a simple but meaningful message:

You are not alone. Your courage matters. Your journey matters.

And for the medical teams, it was an expression of gratitude for the compassion, commitment, and care they give every day.

At SMARTPINK, we believe that supporting breast health goes beyond technology and early detection. It means being present for people, creating moments of humanity, and turning awareness into meaningful action.

02Gifts and Symbolic Contributions

A Small Gift. A Meaningful Reminder: You Are Not Alone.

31/10/2024

During Pink October 2024, SMARTPINK chose to turn simple gifts into moments of comfort, connection, and solidarity for breast cancer patients.

During Pink October 2024, SMARTPINK chose to turn simple gifts into moments of comfort, connection, and solidarity for breast cancer patients.

Each gift was more than an object. It was a small message of encouragement—a reminder to every woman facing the challenges of treatment that she is seen, she matters, and she does not have to face her journey alone.

As part of this initiative, symbolic financial contributions were also presented to three individuals, offering a modest form of support during a difficult period. While these contributions could not erase the challenges of treatment, they carried something deeply important: a gesture of care, dignity, and human solidarity at a time when every kind gesture matters.

Because sometimes, hope does not arrive in grand gestures. Sometimes, it comes as a gift placed gently into someone's hands, a few words of encouragement, or simply the feeling that someone cares.

At SMARTPINK, we believe that breast health is not only about technology and early detection—it is also about human connection, compassion, and standing beside patients when they need it most.

03SMARTPINK's Joyful Children

During Pink October, children from the SMARTPINK community became little ambassadors of joy, taking part in a meaningful initiative created to bring smiles, hope, and warmth to breast cancer patients and healthcare professionals.

Selected to help distribute gifts to patients and doctors during Pink October activities, the children brought a genuine sense of happiness and connection to the celebration. Wearing SMARTPINK shirts and the initiative's logo, they proudly became part of a shared mission that goes beyond awareness—one rooted in hope, solidarity, compassion, and humanity.

Their participation was a beautiful reminder that support can take many forms, and that even the smallest gestures can create meaningful moments for people going through difficult journeys.

Through initiatives like this, SMARTPINK continues to place human connection at the heart of breast health, bringing communities together and creating moments of joy alongside awareness and support.

04Pink October 2025 – Nass Al-Khair Association

Guest of Honor | Pink October 2025

At the kind invitation of the Nass Al-Khair Association, SMARTPINK was honored to participate as a guest of honor in the Association's Pink October 2025 activities dedicated to supporting breast cancer patients and their families.

At the kind invitation of the Nass Al-Khair Association, SMARTPINK was honored to participate as a guest of honor in the Association's Pink October 2025 activities dedicated to supporting breast cancer patients and their families.

The event brought the community together through a warm communal lunch, followed by an evening of engaging activities, treats, and moments of joy and connection. Beyond the celebration, the gathering created an opportunity to raise awareness and strengthen solidarity with women and families affected by breast cancer.

During the event, Koolaf Romaissaa, Founder & CEO of SMARTPINK, presented the SMARTPINK ecosystem and its vision for a more accessible, preventive, and connected approach to breast health. She highlighted SMARTPINK's services and its role in supporting patients, promoting breast cancer awareness and early detection, and connecting individuals with relevant health, social, and community support services.

The participation reflected SMARTPINK's commitment to being close to patients and communities—listening to their needs, raising awareness, and contributing to a future where every woman can access the support and resources she needs throughout her breast-health journey.

05Open Day – Hakim Saadan Hospital 2025

Patient Open Day | Hakim Saadan Hospital – Biskra

A Day of Listening, Connection & Meaningful Support

As part of SMARTPINK's commitment to staying close to breast cancer patients and their real needs, SMARTPINK participated in an open day at Hakim Saadan Hospital in Biskra, bringing together patients, associations, and various supporting organizations.

As part of SMARTPINK's commitment to staying close to breast cancer patients and their real needs, SMARTPINK participated in an open day at Hakim Saadan Hospital in Biskra, bringing together patients, associations, and various supporting organizations.

More than an opportunity to present initiatives and available services, the event created a space for direct human connection—a space to listen to patients, understand their challenges, learn about their needs and aspirations, and build closer and more meaningful communication with them.

Throughout the day, SMARTPINK introduced its initiatives and available services, while giving patients the opportunity to discover potential sources of support and assistance that could help them throughout their journey.

For SMARTPINK, meaningful solutions begin with listening.

Every concern shared, every question asked, and every personal experience expressed by a patient can become the starting point for building services that are more relevant, more accessible, and more responsive to the realities women and their families face.

Because SMARTPINK does not want to speak about patients from a distance. It wants to stand beside them, listen to them, understand them, and help build a future of breast health that is more supportive, connected, and human.

06Certificate of Appreciation 2025

A Meaningful Recognition of Partnership & Humanity

At the conclusion of the participation, SMARTPINK was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Nass Al-Khair Association, in recognition of its contribution and participation in making this humanitarian initiative a success.

At the conclusion of the participation, SMARTPINK was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Nass Al-Khair Association, in recognition of its contribution and participation in making this humanitarian initiative a success.

For SMARTPINK, this recognition represents more than a certificate. It is a meaningful acknowledgment of the importance of coming together as a community, supporting patients, and turning compassion into action.

Every partnership built around breast cancer awareness and patient support strengthens a shared mission: creating moments of hope, solidarity, and human connection for those who need them most.

07From the Field to the Solution

Because the best solutions begin by listening.

SMARTPINK stays close to patients because we believe that real change begins with listening to the people who experience the challenge firsthand.

SMARTPINK stays close to patients because we believe that real change begins with listening to the people who experience the challenge firsthand.

Through direct conversations and meaningful encounters with breast cancer patients, we seek to understand more than their medical needs. We listen to their experiences, their daily struggles, their concerns, and the challenges they and their families face throughout the journey.

These voices help us look beyond what is visible and recognize the real gaps in medical, emotional, psychological, social, and financial support. Every story can reveal a need. Every concern can point to a gap. Every conversation can inspire a better solution.

This is how SMARTPINK moves from the field to the solution—by allowing patients' realities to shape the way we think, the services we develop, and the support we seek to connect them with.

Because patients should not have to adapt to solutions that were designed without them.

We believe the most meaningful solutions are built by listening first, understanding deeply, and responding to what truly matters.

At SMARTPINK, we do not simply ask, "What can we offer?" We ask, "What do patients truly need—and how can we help make that need easier to meet?"

08SMARTPINK in Biskra — From a Graduation Idea to a Growing Movement

A Young Algerian Engineer, a Humanitarian Mission, and a City That Believed in the Vision

18/10/2025

In early 2024, I began a deeply personal and ambitious journey as a young engineer: to build a project that could bring together technology, healthcare, and human impact.

In early 2024, I began a deeply personal and ambitious journey as a young engineer: to build a project that could bring together technology, healthcare, and human impact.

That project was SMARTPINK.

What began as a simple graduation idea gradually evolved through continuous work, learning, experimentation, and determination into a growing digital health ecosystem designed to harness artificial intelligence for breast health, awareness, early detection, and patient support.

Nearly two years of dedication later, I was deeply honored to see SMARTPINK make its official public appearance in Biskra, through a presentation broadcast on Biskra's screen, made possible with the valued support of the Biskra Municipality, which believed in the project and helped make this moment possible.

It was more than a broadcast.

It was a moment when a project born from an idea could be seen, recognized, and connected to the city from which it grew.

At the same time, Biskra itself was presented through SMARTPINK—a city known for its creativity, generosity, and commitment to its community, embracing an initiative that brings together health, awareness, innovation, and technology.

Filmed at Razi 2 Clinic, the video reflected the heart of SMARTPINK's vision: to spread hope, stand beside women throughout their breast-health journey, and remind every patient that she deserves support, dignity, and access to better solutions.

"You Will Never Fight Alone."

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Tarek Joudi, President of the People's Municipal Assembly, and especially to Mr. Ahmed Tari, Director of Social Affairs of the Biskra Municipality, Mr. Mohamed Reouak, Secretary-General, Mr. Bou Boubaker Madoui, Deputy in charge of Finance, and Mr. Salim Bekhba, Deputy in charge of Social Affairs, for their valuable support and for facilitating the dissemination of this work.

Their support represented an important milestone in SMARTPINK's visibility within Biskra and helped create a meaningful bridge between Mohamed Khider University of Biskra and local authorities.

Because meaningful support begins when institutions believe in young talent, local innovation, and entrepreneurial projects capable of contributing to the future of Algeria. 🇩🇿

On October 16, 2025, I was also honored to present SMARTPINK in greater depth before doctors, association leaders, and representatives of the municipality, sharing the journey of the project from its beginnings to its future development plans.

For me, this was not simply a presentation of what SMARTPINK had achieved.

It was a glimpse of what it could become.

A new generation of SMARTPINK—bringing smarter, broader, and more connected services to patients, healthcare professionals, communities, and society.

And the journey is only beginning.

From a graduation idea to a growing ecosystem. From one young engineer's vision to a community-supported mission. From Biskra to a much bigger horizon.
