SMART PINK is an AI-powered breast-health and HealthTech platform that brings together patients, doctors, NGOs and artificial intelligence to provide awareness, information, technology demonstrations and support in the fight against breast cancer.

SMART PINK is not a medical institution. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency care or guaranteed medical outcomes, and nothing on the Platform should be treated as such.

You may use the Platform for lawful, personal and professional purposes consistent with its features. You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by attempting to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access to it, introducing malicious code, or otherwise interfering with its operation.

You agree not to scrape, harvest or systematically extract content from the Platform in ways that harm its operation, and not to use automated tools to submit forms or exhaust our services.

Some features require an account. When you register you must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for the activity that happens under your account.

Accounts have roles: patient, doctor and administrator. Doctor accounts are reviewed and must be approved before use; an unapproved doctor account may remain pending or be rejected.

We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms, is used abusively or unlawfully, or where we consider it necessary to protect the Platform or its users.

Some parts of the Platform allow you to publish content, such as a community profile, or to upload information and documents to your account. You are solely responsible for what you submit and for the rights and consents attached to it, including those of other people who appear in it.

By submitting content to a public part of the Platform, you grant SMART PINK a non-exclusive licence to display and operate that content for the purpose of the feature you used.

You agree not to publish unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, obscene or harmful content, content that infringes the rights of others, or content unrelated to the Platform's purpose. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

The community directory makes some member information visible to other users of the Platform. Only the information you choose to include in your community profile is displayed.

The awareness articles, AI content and other materials on the Platform are provided for general information and educational purposes. They do not constitute medical advice, and their accuracy is not guaranteed.

Always consult a qualified health professional about your health, and contact emergency services in an emergency. Relying on information from the Platform as a substitute for professional care is at your own risk.

The Platform includes AI-assisted features such as the Hope assistant, a breast-cancer prediction tool and a Digital & AI Maturity Diagnostic. These are informational and assistive technologies. Their outputs, including predictions and maturity scores, are not medical diagnoses, certifications or guarantees.

AI outputs can be imperfect. Verify any important information and always seek professional advice for medical questions.

You agree to use the tools responsibly and not to submit personal identifiers or sensitive medical details to the Hope chat beyond what is necessary.

The donate page is currently a demonstration and pledge interface. No payment is processed through the website at this time and no amount is charged. If a real donation programme becomes available, it will be described on the relevant page.

The tele-expertise request form and similar request interfaces are currently interactive demonstrations: the information you enter stays in your browser and is not transmitted.

The Platform and its content — including text, images, brand, graphic design, data models and underlying software — are protected by copyright and related intellectual-property rights and belong to SMART PINK and its author (Romaissaa Koolaf), or are used under licence.

You may view, download and print content for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use, reproduction or distribution requires prior written permission.

Using the Platform does not give you any ownership of the Platform or its content.

The Platform may link to external websites and services, and some features are operated with the help of third-party providers such as cloud, AI and mapping services. We do not control those providers and are not responsible for their content, practices or availability.

Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that its content and AI outputs will be accurate or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SMART PINK and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Platform.

In particular, SMART PINK is not liable for decisions made on the basis of its informational content or AI outputs. You remain responsible for your own decisions, including health-related decisions, and for seeking professional care.

We may restrict, suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, in whole or in part, if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably consider that your use endangers the Platform or other users.

You may stop using the Platform at any time and may request the deletion of your account as described in the privacy policy.

We may amend these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with its “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
